Camille Stephens

Founder/Executive Director

Camille Stephens is a dedicated leader, community advocate, and the visionary founder of Locked Out Love Inc., an organization committed to reducing recidivism and supporting individuals as they transition from the justice system to self-sufficiency. In addition, she is the founder and CEO of Life Forces CTC (Coaching, Training, & Consulting) and the Tony J. Stephens Justice Foundation. Camille brings over 35 years of experience working across all age groups, from youth to seniors, with a specialized focus over the past 17 years on justice-involved individuals aged 16 and up.

Her passion is rooted in providing life and soft skills training to individuals preparing for reintegration into society. Camille helps them understand the root causes of their past decisions and guides them toward more positive life paths. As a Life Transition Success Coach, she leads Working Smart, Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), and Parent Talk Therapy classes weekly. These programs are tailored to address the needs of justice-involved individuals and their families, offering a safe space for parents to communicate, learn, and grow through the Juvenile Crime Intervention Program (JCIP).

Camille’s journey with the justice system is also personal. After experiencing the pain and challenges of having her own son incarcerated, she founded Locked Out Love Inc. to ensure that others receive the support they need to rebuild their lives. Camille's son, Tony J. Stephens, was sentenced to 12.5 years in federal prison and later tragically lost his life in 2020. His vision for Locked Out Love continues to inspire the organization's mission today, which stands as a tribute to his legacy.

Camille holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and multiple certifications, including Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), Certified Life Coach, and Certified MRT Facilitator. She serves as the lead coordinator of the Mecklenburg Council of Elders’ Service Providers, ensuring comprehensive "wrap-around" services for those participating in the programs. Camille is also an active member and treasurer of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) and a proud retired veteran of the United States Army.

Above all, Camille is deeply family-oriented, cherishing her role as a mother and grandmother. She believes that faith in God and the strength of family are the cornerstones of personal well-being. Camille’s ongoing commitment to justice reform and community service exemplifies her life's work—helping others succeed and live meaningful lives.
