Mentorship

Locked Out Love’s Mentorship Programs bring together trained community volunteers with people who are reentering the community after incarceration. Our programs cultivate healthy social connections, with the aim of fostering productive habits, building community, and providing new positive experiences.
Rise Circle
Rise Circle is a monthly 2-hour round-table circle grounded in self-determination, positive peer relationships and caring support from self-determination advocates. Our Rise Circle will provide healing and support for people navigating to stay out of the system so that they can rise above their past, and work towards a limitless future. This work includes life coaching, support, systems navigation, and re-entry planning.
We know that mentorship is key to successful reentry. Our program participants' experiences working with a mentor has been critical to their success. We ask that Mentors be at least 26 years old. Those with conviction histories are encouraged to apply. If you are in recovery from an addiction, at least one year without relapse is required.
If you would like to explore opportunities to become a mentor, please get in touch with us at info@lockedoutlove.com.
